We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential and commercial solar projects from start to finish.
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of the daily operations plan, ensuring tasks are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with project objectives.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction or operation of solar systems.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure all construction and system operations meet local and national codes and specifications.
  • Inspect and test solar equipment, including panels, inverters, and mounting systems, to ensure proper functionality before project handover.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth communication and workflow.
  • Support training and onboarding of operations technicians for solar system installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Address project-related challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and keep projects on schedule.
  • Oversee routine maintenance and repairs for installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate solar system performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards, local regulations, and project-specific requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for the construction, operation, and maintenance of assigned solar systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of field experience in construction, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management tools and software such as Monday.com or ProCore.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • 100% Fluent in English.
  • Legal unrestricted work authorization or US Citizenship.
